So the whole entire house was actually clean all at the same time. Wellllll if you don't count the garage. But garages don't count, now, do they? I think I said we listed the house with an agent. Their photographer came out today to take pics. He tried to convince me that I want a tiny camera. lol! I sure hope his pics are good because I had to have everything clean. =) Good practice I guess, 'cause that's how it's gonna have to be for a while.
So we can still sell the house ourselves if we want to and we can use them as a transaction broker for 1%. Not bad but I think we can figure the details out ourselves if we do find a seller on our own. Someone emailed about it tonight but we don't know yet if it's another sneaky realtor or if it's really someone interested in the house. Every response we had gotten so far on craigslist was a realtor wanting to list our house. Bah!

Gisdusting, Bud Light, Laineyness
Lainey pooped in her swimsuit the other day - twice. She wanted to wear a swim diaper and I said she didn't need one. Yeah. After she pooped her swimsuit twice, she said "Now can I wear a swim diaper?" Ha! No, little stinker! lol Actually with Lainey you never really know if she's serious or not - she might have just thought 'huh, that's a good excuse!' Anyway while I was cleaning her poop, she was saying "This is gisdusting!" over and over. lol!
Okay and this is even funnier. I don't have that many Emily funnies - she is getting so big! But this one is just so great. The other night, Laine got her Pull-Up on. It's a new package and the Pull-Ups have Toy Story characters on them. Emily said something about how they have "Woody and Bud Light" on them. I said "What did you say?" She said "They have Woody and Bud Light on them." I still couldn't believe it. I said "Did you just say 'Bud Light?'" She said "yeah!" LOL I busted out laughing and told her it was Buzz Lightyear. She was like "Oh, yeah!" Hahahaha! We have never ever even bought Bud Light, so I have no idea where this came from. I guess Harper and I compare things to Bud Light, though. Anything generic for the masses is "the Bud Light of..." Anyway. Hilarious. =)
Lainey is getting pretty good at saying her r's and l's. It's really cute! She still says 'wellow' for 'yellow' and 'colors' sounds so cute. Like 'cowows.' =)
We've hired a realtor and planned a move date - not too far off! I'm excited. But sad to leave friends. It's bittersweet...
Oh! I finished my image for Lainey's dinosaur shirt and I'm all ready to order it! But I'm going to see if I can send it to Sunny's house since I don't have an address in Sandpoint yet and it might not get here before we leave. I think it's cute! =) Here is the graphic:
It will be on a pink shirt with dark pink raglan sleeves. Cute, huh? =) It was sort of a pain to make. I drew it in pencil and then scanned it and then I had to make the lines all smooth and perfect... Kinda fun, though. Maybe I'll do it again sometime. =)

Haircut
Before:

I put contacts in for Rock River Rapids. I think they might have been a really old prescription, lol. I couldn't see well at all, even when I adjusted to the fishbowl funkiness. The eye doctor did tell me a coupl'a years ago that contacts just can't correct as well as glasses at my prescription (yeah it's bad). So maybe that's what it is. Dunno. But I like contacts. =)Ouch
The night before last I guess I slept funny because my neck hurt when I woke up. It hurt all day yesterday and all day today and then I injured it again tonight when I had to turn around quickly 'cause Bek was getting my camera. =( It hurts to move my head and I'm guessing it's pinching a nerve, too, because my right arm aches and feels like there's a needle through it at the same time. Very uncool. I was thinking this morning that I didn't feel like going to church - I just wanted to stay perfectly still so my neck wouldn't hurt. Then Lainey crawled into bed with me and puked all over Harper's pillow. Nice. So I got to stay home. lol =P
Harp was supposed to do sound today but he went and got it all set up and asked someone to take over so he could come baby us. Emily said she felt pukey too, but she never did get sick. Laine threw up all morning but she has seemed just fine the rest of the day. I'm hoping it was a quick thing.
Emmy and I read three more chapters of Little House on the Prairie this morning. I read some and she read some and then I read some more. We're getting close to the end.
Harper's dad called in a muscle relaxant for me, so I just took it along with two more Ibuprofen. I also have ice on my neck/shoulder but it still feels tense. Hmm maybe that's because I'm trying to keep it on my shoulder and type at the same time. =P
No calls about our house all weekend. Lame! We haven't done any of the things Patty suggested yet (see comment on earlier post) but as soon as I can hold a camera and not injure myself... =P We'll get it fixed up.
Oh last night we went to Rock River Rapids. We didn't go "with" anyone but it was for the library reading program thing, so we saw lots of people we knew and got to hang out with a bunch of friends. Jonathan and Lida, Jason and Dawn, Jim and Tatum, and Raven were there. Fun!
Oh and yesterday I got my hair cut. Over 12 inches came off! I have pics but the camera is upstairs, I'm not, and my neck hurts so I don't really feel like going up there just to get pics.
I have more pics to post but we were leaving for something when I was posting pics yesterday. But maybe tomorrow. I'm gonna watch a movie with the girls so I can just relax. Later!

Pics
Oooookay I haven't posted pics since before Scott left! That is crazy. He's back. Anyway. Here are some pics. =) These are from a month ago. Em's peanut butter recipes that she made to give to people at church. She thought of people with kids because "you can't make peanut butter without kids!" ('Cause it's too much work to shell them all - we had gotten the peanuts at Atwoods) =)
House & Bek =)
Hey! Here is our listing. My parents liked the sky, so it stayed. =) Harp's mom found that it wasn't searchable on craigslist (agh!) so Harper fixed that just now. Yay! Still need to make a flyer and take it to base housing. Um, Alyssa, want to get me in there sometime? =)
Harper pointed out that I never posted cow pics, so here ya go. =) If you're on Facebook, you've probably seen most of these.
Our fam plus Tatum and her kids and an extra that she was babysitting. She had a pink mitten stuffed for an udder. Awesome! =)

And I was talking to Harper's mom this morning and realized I never said that Bekah walks around stuff holding on. =) She started doing that before she started standing on her own. She has only stood on her own a few times, but she did it again last night and she does it for a long time! So maybe she'll be a walker pretty soon. =)
We're heading to the pool in a bit and then Bible study is at our house tonight. I did major laundry today and scrapped a few pages. Emmy and Lainey made a house out of boxes and then turned it into two stores. Em couldn't get the boxes to stick together so she got my crop-a-dile and punched holes in both the boxes and tied them together with a ribbon. Pretty clever, huh? =) Emmy got her woot shirt (the green dinosaur shirt) out of the laundry and she and Daddy are both wearing their woot shirts today. They like to wear them on the same day. =)
Okay gotta clean and stuff. Later 'gators!

Yay
The house is officially on the market. Yay! Thank you, thank you, to my Aunt Patty for the listing info. =) Our listing looks better than any that we've seen with all the house hunting we've been doing, except for the multi-million-dollar houses in Idaho. =P And thank you, thank you, to Alyssa for letting me borrow her camera. =P I couldn't get a wide enough angle with my lens and didn't want to shell out $1,000 for a lens. Hers worked out perfectly. Yay! =)
Okay so I never did Photoshop the sky (or go take two more pics) but I'll do it later. Having it up feels like progress and it's not that hard to change the picture later. =) It was cloudy and gloomy outside when I took the pic.
Yesterday we went to Wichita for an Epilog Laser demonstration. We aren't ready to buy one yet, but we'll consider that one if/when we are. There is a higher-power machine you can get from China that will cut more (thicker) materials but it's not as reliable. And Epilog is US-made. Huge difference in price, though. The Chinese one is $4-5K and the American one is $12K+.
Anyway we also got some awesome boxes from Payless (yeah, the shoe store!) yesterday. A friend (Katy) told me they had great moving boxes. =) They are perfect!
Off to Osage Park for a picnic with Hannah and Joshua-ua. =) And tonight we're going out to dinner with Scott and Alyssa for Alyssa's birthday. Happy Birthday, Alyssa!! =)

Poop Face
Lainey pooped in her panties and I told her to go clean up. I forgot about it and started a load of laundry. Harp came and told me he went in there and she had poop "everywhere" - I haven't asked exactly what that means, lol. But he said "Laina! You got poop everywhere!" She laughed and said "But not even on my face!" right as she wiped her face with a poopy hand (by accident). LOL I think I might have to stick to cleaning the basement for a little while. ;)
The Final Final Day
Right? Well, we are supposedly going to have the house on the market tomorrow. I don't know if it will happen, but we are trying. We need one more picture - the basement - and then we need to get pics on the computer. I need to Photoshop in a sky for the house pic or else go take two on a tripod and composite the two pics so the sky and house are both exposed properly.
So right now I'm cleaning the basement. I have no idea what Harper is doing but he says it's productive so that's good. =P I am so ready to have this done! I feel like we've been doing our own thing and just managing the kids and I hate that. I really really hate that. But if we don't get this house stuff done and get it on the market, then we'll all be apart anyway when Harper moves to Idaho without us. =\
Okay. Off to FINISH the basement. Right? I'm not as hopeful as I should be. Hmm maybe I should just throw stuff in boxes. ;) We don't have any more boxes though and we can't get them until tomorrow. Later!

Peas, Swinging, Whatnot
This morning we met Jesh and Lisa at Starbucks. Talked finances pretty much the whole time. =P And a little about a whole life insurance plan Jesh is envisioning starting. I'm going to do some stats analysis for him whenever he gets me the data. You mean I have to use my brain again? lol =P
Then we went to the camera shop to see if we could find a wide angle lens to take house pics. Nope.
Then we went to The Spice Merchant. Harper is all into tea and bought a bunch of tea last week. Picked the ones he liked best and went back for more today. When we were there last time, they were roasting coffee beans in a huge roaster. Lainey thought that was pretty cool. So when we walked in today, she said "Is this the place with the thing that goes 'round and 'round and mixes the coffee peas?" =P Hehe! Peas, beans, whatever! =)
Then we walked around the roaster and there was a really long chain hanging from a fluorescent light (they have very high ceilings). Laine said "Maybe that's for swingin' on!" =P Ha. She would think of that. =P
The other night she took the cushions off the couch, bounced three bounces along the couch and then dove over the edge, as if she wouldn't land on her head. =P Nice big bruise on her forehead now... And yes she did cry. It was hard to not laugh though. She is so silly! =)
We ended up borrowing Alyssa's camera to take pics. I still need to get the kitchen and the basement and then I think we're done with pics. Yay. It will be nice to have the house on the market.
The property in Idaho that I posted about turned out to be junk. =P The realtor was either lying or didn't remember her own listing 'cause it had fire damage and water damage! Harp's looking at another house now. I really could care less right now about houses in Idaho. I just want to get this one on the market and then maybe I'll feel like thinking about it. I would rather just wait until we get up there.
Gotta go put kids in bed. Later! =)

Moving
So the news has been out on Facebook for a few days but I haven't gotten around to blogging it... Harper accepted an offer from Quest Aircraft in Sandpoint, Idaho! YAY! We are SO excited to be going there. The company is awesome, Brenton and Sunny live there, and look! Goodness, who wouldn't want to live there?!
So we are going to try to sell this house ourselves. Nellie Wisner is the rockin'est friend ever - she rounded up a ton of people to come help us get the house ready yesterday. Okay 3 were siblings (part of the awesomeness of a family of 12) and the others were people from church. Nellie, Luke, Raven and CK came and Megan, Ben, and Carrie. (Carrie is Mike Grabau's sister and we found out he will be here in a couple of weeks. Yay!) Anyway it was awesome. All of the painting is done. Well almost all of it - the rest is quite minor and it doesn't even matter if we do it before we take pics. The icky garden out back is cleaned out and there is a tiny garden area in the front that Raven and Megan pulled out. We still need to clean up the garden in the front (cut the irises back and remove the trees that try to grow there every year) and then we can take outside pics. I need to finish taking inside pics of everything I can while the girls are asleep. Jim and Tatum are coming over in like an hour and a half and I don't even know what I'm making for dinner yet. =P
Anyway Harp found a property he is very interested in in Sandpoint. Brenton and Sunny are going to check it out and if it looks good, Harper and Quin may be flying out there tomorrow to look at it. It is beautiful, on 6 wooded acres. It needs some work and it's a foreclosure so we could get it super cheap and fix it up and it would just be awesome. =) I would love if it worked out!

Princess Dress, Taking Pictures, Stuff
The other day I was trying to take a nap with Lainey and she kept saying funny things again. I asked her what color she wanted her princess dress to be (for her birthday, which is next month). She said "A dinosaur on the front and a dinosaur on the back." I said "Okay, what color do you want the dress to be?" She said "Um, like a t-shirt." Hehe. So Lainey wants a dinosaur t-shirt for her birthday. =P I'm actually planning on making her one (I think it's because she likes Emmy's woot shirt with the dinosaur holding a cupcake) so I should get moving on that!
Emily got a Highlights magazine today. In case I've never blogged it, she gets SO excited whenever she gets one. =) There was a thing in the back where you cut out some pages and assemble a book. She asked me where the stapler was and I said I didn't know, but that she could use some brads. =P So she punched some holes with the crop-a-dile and put some of her brads in the holes. Lainey got her two bags of flowers and brads for Christmas so she has her own little stash. She wanted to give me the pink corduroy brad out of it. I don't like to refuse my kids when they give me something (I love for them to be giving!) and I don't like to encourage them to be selfish either (like telling them they should keep it for themselves) but my first reaction was to tell her she should keep it because it's so pretty. I told her I really like that brad and I wanted one like it and they didn't have any more and that I really did want it but I also felt bad taking it from her because it was so pretty. She was like no really Mom I want you to have it. =P I got all teary. She is such a sweet girl! So I accepted it and then she gave me a flower to go with it. Agh, I love that girl!
Which reminds me - we had the Nusses over for dinner on Saturday night and I had a few things to pick up and stuff sitting on the steps to take upstairs and put away. I was running out of time and Emmy woke up from her nap and came down all groggy. I told her what I was doing and asked her if she could help me a bit. She said "Oh, don't worry about this stuff on the stairs, Mommy. I'll do it all and you won't even have to do one little bit of it!" How sweet is that? And she did it all too and did a great job. It was quite a bit of stuff including four packages of diapers. =)
Lainey loves to write her name. She asks me how and I tell her what to draw and she does it. She has been making all sorts of things out of Emily's Kid K'nex. She tells me she will stop sucking her finger when she turns three. =P She showed me her "big feet" the other day so I guess she's deciding she's getting big enough to stop sucking. =P She still only does it in bed, which is good, but she does need to stop soon.
Sunday I took family pics of the Wisners. All 10 of their kids were in town and all but one spouse (3 are married) and there are 8 grandkids. So there were some big group pics and then family pics too. I did a TON of Photoshopping. =P Head swapping, face swapping, tree fixin', everything. It's hard to get 22 people all looking good in one shot. And it was like 100 degrees out, too. They bought us Braum's (ice cream) afterward. Mmm! Emily and Lainey were so good during all that, too. It was about an hour and a half that we were out in the heat and they took care of Bekah while Harp and I did pics.
Bek started clapping! It's been a little while since she started. It is soooo cute! =P And tonight at dinner, I think she was signing 'more.' She did it whenever she finished a bite of food and seemed to want more. The only reason I'd doubt it is that I think it makes more sense for her to learn 'milk' first. Doesn't it? I don't think she has ever signed 'milk.' But I tried to reinforce 'more' tonight so we'll see if she keeps doing it. =)
On Friday last week, we went to Chick-Fil-A for Cow Appreciation Day and Tatum and her kids came. Boy, do I miss Chick-Fil-A. The only one here is in the student center at Wichita State University. We had tried to find it once, but didn't know what building we were looking for. This was enough motivation for us to do our research and find it. =) It's still not near anyplace we ever go, so we probably won't go much. But it was a free meal and super duper good! And we were pretty cute cows. =P I have pics.
Then that night we met Jim and Tatum and kids and Kyle and his son at the berry farm and picked blackberries. YUM. Tonight, we (Harper) made blackberry jam and cherry jam. We stopped by Sam's club and they had cherries under $2 a pound and something possessed us to get 6 pounds of them. lol =) It will be yummy. I like cherry jam. And blackberry. =)
Doing laundry, still not painting the rest of the stuff we need to paint (agh), crafting with the kids often... =)
Oh, job news: Well, no news from Quest yet. But not hearing back isn't a bad thing because they said it would be a little while and we would hear either way. L-3 didn't make an offer, which we were very happy about. Harper didn't want that job at all, but he didn't want the pressure of having to decide whether or not to take it. So, whew! We're glad God was super clear on that one. =P (They work their engineers 80-hour weeks sometimes and people told him they never got to take their vacation because they always needed them at work - lame-o) Harper got a call from Goodrich (Colorado Springs) today and they are finally getting back to people that had an interview with HR. And he has a phone interview Wednesday with an engineering manager. Cool! Yeah, that's all the job news. =P We're still having fun, feeling like we're on vacation. =) We're all sleeping until 7:30 or 8 every day, which is awesome! I'm glad the kids adjusted to that.

Toop & Stuff =)
Lainey likes to spell 'T-O-O-P' for everything. "Time to go to T-O-O-P!" "What is that, Laine?" "Bed!" =) Tonight she asked Harper "What does T-O-O-P spell?" Hehe. She asks every once in a while and we always tell her toop and she says "What does that mean?" lol She is too funny. =)
Today was a busy day. I was hardly at home! We ate breakfast and then went to the church building to set up photography stuff. I took some pics of our pastor's grandkids (they don't know, so if you know them, then shhhh). They are all in town right now, so it was perfect. =) They thought we were meeting them at the park to play, so we all headed to the park afterward so it was still true. =P Hehe! Sneaky, sneaky... =)
We had Wendy's at the park for lunch and then Harp stayed home while Lainey and Bekah napped and Em and I went to Kmart for super doubles. =P There's a Catalina promotion with Huggies right now and I got them for $1.52 per pack, not even counting the other stuff I got in the same transactions (like considering the other things free) but counting tax on all of it. Nice, eh?! And we got some other stuff. I might post on my deals blog in a bit (EDIT: posted)... I had a great one at Target the other day too and I actually took a pic of it too and bothered to remember how much I paid. =)
Okay anyway then we randomly stopped by Tatum's but she wasn't home. It wasn't too far out of the way because the road we were going to take home was closed and we had to go farther south toward her house anyway. Anyway then we got home from Kmart, I fed Bekah, and I took all 3 girls to Caleb & Eden's house to swim. We had a fun time playing in the pool and the kids played on the cool teeter totter that Emily (P) made. We will really miss them!!
Then we came home, picked up Harper, and we all went to Walmart. We got stuff for dinner and some other random things and finally got home at like 6:10! Crazy! I am never out all day like that - it was kinda weird!
I made chicken parmigiana for dinner, which was so yummy. I hadn't made it in a long time and I just really wanted it. =) And strawberries were super cheap at Walmart so we made strawberry shortcake for dessert. Emily helped me make the shortcake and Em and Laine both helped put it in muffin cups (wanted it to cook quickly - turned out great this way). Bek stuck her hand in it and licked some batter, so I hope it doesn't do horrible things to her. It has egg in it and she used to be so sensitive to when I would eat egg. It hasn't been a problem for a while, but she's never had egg so I don't know. And it was raw. Blech! Well, I ate some. =P But blech for Bekah to eat it. =) lol

Another Moose Card & Infinity
Emmy's moose card. The star paper is a tent for the moose to camp in. =) We couldn't find his hooves. =P
The girls and I just made moose cards together. Em's is done but Lainey's is hanging out in the craft room still. =P Laina wanted to ink her moose with red ink, hehe. It looks like it romped through a pool of blood. I'll have to take a pic of it later.
Hmm yeah and I don't think I ever mentioned that these moose cards are to send to CK while she is at camp this week. =) I read my last post and it didn't make any sense unless you already knew that, lol. The campers have to climb a ladder to kiss a moose statue every time they get mail. And besides, mooses are just cute. =)
Anyway while we were crafting, Emily asked a completely random question: "Mom? Is there a last number that you can count to?"
The other day after we went to the circus and Sakura, we were next to a Dollar Tree, so we took the girls in and told them they could each pick something because they have been such sweet girls lately. Emily told me that she was going to get her thing for me. So sweet! =P First she was going to get me a cool bubble wand, but then she decided on bubble tape (gum). Lainey had picked some truck stickers, but then she found the gum too. =) So Lainey got a bag full of gumballs. They have been sharing with each other and with us. =) And the tape gum is mine Emmy says but we are all sharing that too. =) I love these girls! (Em just read this over my shoulder and said "I love you too!" She makes me smile...) =)

CK's Moose Card
Hey There... =)
Hi! Well the circus was a lot of fun. Lainey was doing tricks during intermission. =P And afterward on the way out, she kept wanting Harper to hold her so she could jump and spin around on his arm. lol =) The circus was during naptime and the girls had been up past midnight the night before, but all went well! And I told them after we left that I was impressed that they didn't ask for anything! The most they ever ask for at the grocery store is string cheese or golfish. =P But they had pony rides, camel rides, elephant rides, animal feeding, balloons, light sticks, cotton candy, etc and I wondered if they were going to be asking for all of that. Nope! =P Yay!
Then we went out to eat at Sakura. We love this little Japanese restaurant and we have never seen it fill up. We've never seen more than 3 other tables full and usually it's just us or one other table. We don't want it to close! It is a quiet sort of restaurant, so we debated whether or not to take super-sleepy kids, but then decided they would probably be fine. And they were. Yay again! We entertained Bekah with rice. =P I think 98% of it ended up on the floor, but she ate some of it. And I fed her some of their soup. She really liked it. Don't think that's in the baby food book. ;) lol I realized after we had all eaten all of our tofu out of it that she is big enough for tofu. I'll have to get her some soft tofu.
The birthday party was fun. They had a pinata and my girls were not sure about hitting it, lol. I was just telling them the other day about pinatas, but they were still unsure. Hehe! Emily looked at us between each hit to see if she was supposed to hit it again or give someone else a turn. =P It took another mom to break it open - none of the kids could do it. Em and Laine got quite a bit of candy.
Anyway I need to run and make a card. Don't know what we are doing today. Should paint!

Party, Fun Visit, 4th of July, Circus, More Partyin'
Hey! My parents came for a short but fun visit! =) They just headed out. I guess I'll try to post this in order, though. =P
Thursday morning we went to Corli's birthday party. The girls picked out this wiggly caterpillar sprinkler for her. Someone had given one to Hannah for her birthday and the girls thought it was so cool. =) So Corli's party was super fun and Lida went all out with the decorations and it was just so awesome! I don't think I could do it. There were tons of balloons, streamers, little lanterns, these fun tissue paper balls hanging all over (remember those flowers you make with accordion-folded tissue paper? They were balls like that but the ends had been cut in scallops and some were like petals) and it was all just very cool. =) Anyway I do have pics from the party but I have only edited one and it's of Corli and most of you don't know her. =P Maybe I'll post it when I post the other pics.
Anyway then that night my parents got in. We meant to play Carcassonne, but never did! =\ Well, another time. =) We painted some, shopped some, just hung out some... =) And of course the 4th of July.. =) We all went to Jim and Tatum's house and they had some other friends there, Ashley and Kyle. We had met them a couple of times before, so that was fun.
My parents had stuff to do in Colorado on Tuesday so they headed back today. =( Maybe we'll be moving there soon anyway. =P We probably won't have our house sold before we hear back from Quest or anything, so we'll try to get it on the market ASAP now. If Harp doesn't get an offer there, we'd be heading for Pueblo anyway so yeah.
Oh I forgot about Lainey's rocket. Her wocket. =) We let each of the girls pick out a firework. Em picked smoke balls and Lainey picked a rocket. That is so her. =) Em actually got two bags of smoke balls because they were so cheap. Lainey had the option of getting smoke balls too but she went for the rocket. =) Emily would rather have 24 small things to do. Lainey would rather have something extremely cool. =P Anyway Lainey zoomed her rocket the whole way home making rocketing sounds. =) I have a pic of it... Anyway I knew she was going to be upset when reality hit and the rocket was gone forever. Yep. She lit it and didn't know it was going to go up! She didn't even see it explode and then a little while later, she asked Harper if they could go find it. =( Poor girl! She is over it, but I think Harper's going to get her a toy wocket. =P She totally melted him at the fireworks stand, grabbing handfuls of Bombers and little cone fireworks. lol We do not let our kids just grab stuff and put it in the cart or anything so I don't know what made her think she could get away with it, but Harper let her get away with it. =P lol She knows Daddy likes fireworks, I guess, so it was worth a try?
Anyway what else? Chris and Judy gave us circus tickets and since Emily and Lainey are always asking us to watch their "tricks" we thought we'd take them to see some serious tricks. =) I don't even remember the circus, but I know I've been before. I think it will be fun. Then tonight is JoLynn's birthday party, so we'll go to that too. It's been a crazy few days for Bekah Jane. I guess she'll recover tomorrow. =P
Random funny things: Emily read the label to the trampoline at Tatum's house and it says one person at a time. This was a couple weeks ago. She freaked out because (a) there were 3 or 4 people on it and (b) she wanted to get on but everyone else wouldn't get off and she wanted to follow the rules. I've had to explain liability to her, lol. Now I hope she makes sure with me before she assumes that what the box says isn't really something we need to obey. =P But last night she still really wanted that rule to be followed and it stressed her out that lots of kids were jumping at the same time. =P
Night before last, we were watching other people do fireworks on our street. Em and I noticed that the 10 Roman Candle balls alternate in color. So I asked her, expecting to explain the answer myself, if there are 10 balls and half are red and half are green, how many are red and how many are green? She thought for a few seconds and said "Um, I think that five would be red and five would be green." Whoa! I asked her this morning how she figured it out and she said "I don't know!" =P That was pretty much always my answer. When you just know, you know, ya know?
Okay off to the circus! The tickets say it's on one side of town and the website says the other side of town, so we've got a little investigating to do. Later! =)

Random
Harp went to Idaho Monday morning and got back late last night. So we had some fun girl time. =)
On Monday, we got up before 5 and took Harp to the airport again. We did that on Friday last week but then his flight was delayed, blah, blah, so he didn't end up going. Anyway so I drank coffee this time so I could make it home and not be scared. It worked. =) I was still able to go back to sleep when we got home. Bek and I woke up at 10, Laine at 10:30, and Em at 11:10. Nice!
Then we ate lunch and went to Osage Park. It's the park with the sprinkler water park. We called Tatum totally last minute and they came too. I love having spontaneous friends! =)
I'm trying to remember what we did between Osage Park and VBS because I know we did something... =) I remember playing Kids of Carcassonne. I can't think of what else.
Then we went to VBS. We only stayed for the first half of it and then went to Starbucks and shopping for two birthday parties that we have this week. It was fun anyway.
Yesterday we just played in the morning (more Kids of Carcassonne too - they love it!) and took naps in the afternoon. Then we went to Sedgwick County Park and found a geocache. I think it was the most fun one yet! And it was our first all-girl cache. And Emily was the one that found it so she was super-excited. =)
Then we went to Outback Steakhouse and had dessert while we waited for Harp's plane to get in. Emily had randomly asked me earlier in the day "Mommy, what's your favorite dessert?" I told her I liked a lot of desserts, but especially mint chocolate chip ice cream. But there is a yummy dessert that I really like at a restaurant with ice cream covered in toasted coconut and whipped cream and strawberries. So I totally surprised them by taking them out for it. =) It arrived at our table half melted, which I thought was hilarious. Did they stick it under the heat lamp? It was a tiny ball of ice cream in a puddle of cream and all the coconut was off the ball, floating in the puddle. It was yummy anyway. =P It might be more funny that they actually served us a melted ball of ice cream, lol...
Other random stuff: Harp thinks Bek is more like Em. I was just reading old posts to scrapbook (I don't remember anything!) and saw that in March he said he thought she was like Lainey. Funny!
Peanut butter. The other day I took the girls to Atwoods and we got peanuts. They wanted to make them into peanut butter so we ran back in and got more. It took us an hour and a half, lol! But we shelled all the peanuts together and talked about all sorts of random stuff while we did it. That was really fun! =) And then we ate peanut butter sandwiches.
Then on Sunday, Emily got four pieces of paper and wrote recipes for friends at church. I have a pic, but not on the computer yet. They say "get some peanuts and blend them up." She wanted to give them to people that had kids because you can't make peanut butter if you don't have kids to help shell the peanuts. =P Hehe! Cutie!! =)

Sleepy Funny Kid & Lainey-Girl & Idaho
The other night, I heard Em get out of bed and go potty. She started to cry and asked me "Can you help me tie this?" I asked her what she needed tied. She cried more and said "Can you help me tie this?" I got out of bed and it looked like she was kind of holding something behind her back. I felt to see what it was and it was her panties. lol She had put both legs in one leg hole and pulled them up around her chest. And she wanted me to tie them in the back. LOL She is hilarious when she is asleep. =P I told her about it the next morning and she cracked up.
Lainey calls straps "stripes." She often repeats what Emily says. =P She's so funny... =) Emily and I might be way too serious if we didn't have Lainey in our family. =P Haha!
So Harper went to Idaho for his interview. He loves Sandpoint and I'm sure I will too if we move there! I don't want to get TOO excited, now! =P The girls watched the video he brought back and they are excited about the lake and mountains. Em said "Maybe we can get up every morning and go climb a mountain!!" =) Maybe. =)
