Bekah Bun

One morning, Bekah woke up and said "Mom, I can talk with one eye shut!"  =)

The kids were talking about what they wanted to spend some money on and Bekah mentioned that she wanted a real turtle. I told her she could ask Harper if she could save up for a turtle. She said "That's not the way you get a pet turtle! You just find one on the road, pick it up, and take it home!!" lol We actually did find a turtle on the road a few days later and picked it up and took it home, but it escaped that night in the back yard.

"How you make meat is, you just kill an animal that has meat!"  -Bekah

Bek was eating a piece of sandwich meat and it had the indentation of the next slice on it. She said "Is there a design of ham on here?"

A few weeks ago at dinner, Lainey asked Harper "Dad, how do you make poison?" He had just taken a big bite of food, so Bekah answered for him: "It's frogs." =)

Ponies, Water Kids, Etc

Bekah told me the other day, "I wish Adam and Eve never sinned, because I don't like thorns and yucca plants." lol  I like that yucca plants are part of the curse.

Bekah told me yesterday that when she had kids she wanted to name them Fresh Water, Red Water, Blue Water, Pink Water, and Pretty Water. Today I was telling Harper about it and she said yeah and I could have a boy named Dirty Water! =)

Lainey gave Bekah something she wanted the other day and Bek said "Lainey, that makes me want to love you and love you very much!!"

Bekah thinks tortillas are tor-a-tillas. =)

"Mother Horse, would it make you feel better if I ride you while you're going into labor?" - Emily, playing horses with Lainey and Bekah =)

Titus is getting so big. He calls a lot of things apple. He definitely knows when it is really an apple. =P But he will call other things apples, even things he used to call the right thing (like bananas and strawberries). It's just a generic word for food and sometimes includes rocks. =)

Titus can go down the slide at the park all by himself and has been having fun on our little slide in the back yard. He is so cute!

We signed up for the library's summer reading program and Em finished in under two weeks. Titus is done, too, but the other girls have some more reading to do. =)

Titus likes to blow raspberries on my belly and he cracks himself up. =) He can go up and down the stairs really well now. He calls all stuffed animals "bear" and pretty much all animals "bird." He does call his cow a cow, though, and if you have been talking about a certain animal, he will repeat it. But if it's out of the blue, he usually comes up with "bird." =)
