Once again, I need to make a list of all the cute things I want to remember... I just keep forgetting stuff! =P
Bekah sings the ABC's very well, and then at the end sings "Now I A B C D E, next time won't you sing with me?" =)
Emily has been reading Anne of Green Gables and it's been fun to have reading dates together. =) We went to Starbucks the other day and had a huge free Frap (thank you Dad for the freebie card!) and read our Anne books. I read Anne of Green Gables and I'm on Anne of Avonlea, so we can sit together and read now. =)
Lainey has been writing SO much! I love how kids spell when they are first learning. =) She is LAINEY JOY (with a backwards J) ABET. =) She's doing a great job reading and now she knows OO, EE, and OY and sometimes she knows SH, CH, and TH. =) She is too cute. She will read 7 words with SH in them just fine and then on number 8, she starts sounding out S and H. =P
The girls drew panda bears the other day for art class, although I didn't give them any guidance so I'm not sure "class" is accurate. =) They call it art class if they are allowed to use the art markers. =) I still need to take pics. I have an album on Facebook of pictures they have drawn in art.
Em's in her second math workbook (Singapore has each grade split into two books) and probably 50 pages into it already. I haven't decided yet if I will let her hang out until fall or go ahead and start 2nd grade math this spring.
Bekah loves koalas. It used to be "kowawa" but she is saying her L's now. It's cute to hear her say "Lainey," but I miss "Nay-nay." =) Anyway whenever we go into a bathroom with a Koala changing table, she says "It's a koala bathroom!!" =P Too cute!
Bekah likes singing The B-I-B-L-E. =P "Da B-I-B-L-E, yes dat's a book a me. Stand alone a God. B-I-B-L-E. Bible!!!" She used to sing this over and over and over again. It's been a while since she has now, so she'd probably get more of the sounds in there now. =P But it's still super cute!!
The laser business has been going pretty well. We've gotten a bunch of Christmas orders, so it probably won't stay this busy, but it would be nice if it did! =)
