We made a list of words that Titus said when he turned 14 months, and there were about 30 on it. He has started saying a ton more since then, too. He is getting even more fun every day. His sense of humor is coming out and he cracks us up. He was playing a game with Harper that he made up the other day, just looking at him on the open side of the screen door and then through the screen door, going back and forth and back and forth. He thought it was soooo funny. Harper was out working on the laser (we have a screen door out into the garage).
I was letting Titus practice drinking out of a sake cup at the sink a couple of days ago and he was spilling it all over himself. Then he discovered that if he shook the cup, water would fall out, and he would crack up. He did it over and over and over... =)
Titus likes dirt. He likes to pick up two handfuls of dirt and throw them down, saying "dirt!!" We went to the playground the other day and they had just remodeled it and a front loader was putting dirt around the sidewalk and packing it down. Titus watched the front loader the whole time we were there. When it drove far away to get some more dirt, Ti said "Bye-bye!!" and waved to it. =P He has been pointing out all the airplanes that fly over. He still likes birds, but bird has sort of extended to mean animal. =) We went to Petco and looked at the ferrets and he called them birds. I said no, it's a ferret, not a bird. And he looked at it for a little longer and again said "Bird!" I told him no, it's a ferret, not a bird! He watched it some more and then said "Bird!" Hehe. He liked seeing the fish and the (real) birds and the hamsters.
We went to the zoo and Ti got to walk around like a big boy. He likes being big. He carried in a two-pound bag of baby carrots from the car the other day.
He also likes to read books. The other day we were in the living room and I told him to go get a book and bring it to Momma and I would read it to him. He did it! I didn't know if he would follow all of that, but he did.
Our church moved to a new building and we had been in it for one week - two meetings that Titus saw Adelaide at. When we went the next time, we were really early to do some work and none of our friends were there yet. Titus went up and down the hall saying "Adelaide? Adelaide?" So cute! He doesn't like going in the nursery, but CK always makes him happy by giving him food. =P lol
Our garden is starting to grow... the kids are into making stop-motion animation videos... I'm sure I'll think of other things I should have blogged later. =P
